What is BEST Robotics??

🤖 What is BEST Robotics, Anyway? 🤖

If you’ve seen our posts about T.H.E. Robotics and wondered what BEST Robotics actually involves, here’s the scoop!

BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) is an eight-week robotics competition held each fall that challenges middle and high school students to think like real engineers. Teams design, build, and program a robot to complete a game challenge revealed on Kickoff Day. But the robot is just one piece of the puzzle. Teams also:

🏗️ Design and build an exhibit booth

🎤 Deliver a team presentation to judges

📓 Keep an engineering notebook documenting the process

📣 Bring the energy with a spirit team

It’s a fast-paced, team-based experience that welcomes students of all skill levels — whether your student loves hands-on building, writing, public speaking, art, or cheering others on, there’s a place for them.

Best part? Participation is entirely free, and no prior experience is needed.

Our season runs mid-September through December, and we’re currently welcoming homeschool students ages 11–18 in and around Grayson County to join T.H.E. Robotics!
