Texoma Home Educators is a North Texas BEST robotics team made of local homeschool students grades 6-12.
BEST Robotics
BEST Robotics is a national organization that hosts a robotics competition every year. Teams can compete for free, and BEST provides them with robot supplies free of charge.
Factoids
This mission will focus on the ethical uses of Artificial Intelligent (AI) bots. It will focus on sorting out true information from false information, as well as establishing a good data connection.
- Mission: The game challenges teams to build an AI system represented by their robot. The mission, themed “bESTology 2025,” focuses on the interaction of AI and training AI models.
- Robot tasks: The robot’s primary functions are twofold:
Build a neural network: Wire up connections that define how the AI thinks.
Act as a web crawler: Gather high-quality data while filtering out “garbage” information.

Texoma Home Educators
Texoma Home Educators, or THE, is a robotics team that competes in BEST competitions. Our team is located in North Texas and is open to all local homeschool students, grades 6-12. We also welcome members from small area private schools. We compete in the CoCo Best HUB, made of other schools in Grayson, Collin, Denton and Fannin counties.
